it's all just a game to these folks....thankfully we're done funding these clowns. They already flipped on masks from their intensive 2019 study so now telling us that everything they've ever recommended was wrong

Coronavirus: WHO backflips on virus stance by condemning lockdowns

Lockdowns have been used to control the coronavirus around the world, plunging millions of lives into chaos. Now the WHO has changed its mind.

The World Health Organisation has backflipped on its original COVID-19 stance after calling for world leaders to stop locking down their countries and economies.

Dr. David Nabarro from the WHO appealed to world leaders yesterday, telling them to stop “using lockdowns as your primary control method” of the coronavirus.

He also claimed that the only thing lockdowns achieved was poverty – with no mention of the potential lives saved.

“Lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer,” he said.

“We in the World Health Organisation do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” Dr Nabarro told The Spectator.

“The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganise, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it.”

Dr Nabarro’s main criticism of lockdowns involved the global impact, explaining how poorer economies that had been indirectly affected.

“Just look at what’s happened to the tourism industry in the Caribbean, for example, or in the Pacific because people aren’t taking their holidays,” he said.

“Look what’s happened to smallholder farmers all over the world. … Look what’s happening to poverty levels. It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year. We may well have at least a doubling of child malnutrition.”

What is obviously clear is due to lockdowns:

1) serious vehicular accidents & deaths are way way down
2) flu deaths & serious complications have decreased tremendously
3) C-19 ill health & deaths are far less due to the lockdowns
4) likewise probably other communicable diseases (e.g. tuberculosis, HIV) have been greatly reduced by the extreme safety measures in place
5) street crimes have probably been highly reduced.
6) families have been able to spend more time together enjoying each others company while free from the slavery of that 4 letter word "work" that the vast majority hate. Giving more time for quality of life activities like sex & various entertainments.
7) abortions (child murder) are probably down.

Many kids & young people's lives have already been saved due to the worldwide lockdowns.

Because motor vehicle accident deaths are the #1 leading worldwide cause of death in such.

"Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens."

https://www.google.com/search?q=lead...hrome&ie=UTF-8

"Each year, 1.35 million people are killed on roadways around the world.4

"...Road traffic injuries are estimated to be the eighth leading cause of death globally for all age groups and the leading cause of death for children and young people 5–29 years of age. More people now die in road traffic crashes than from HIV/AIDS.4"

"We are far from any sort of triumph over this brutal disease. I have seen first-hand what it can do to people in intensive care, many of them previously fit and healthy."

Even in healthy people who don't die from C-19 "COVID-19 symptoms can sometimes persist for months. The virus can damage the lungs, heart and brain, which increases the risk of long-term health problems."

Wear a mask to protect those most vulnerable from dying as a result of - your - C-19 infection. IOW wear a mask so - you - don't murder others.

"The annual flu shot will be more important than ever during the coronavirus pandemic, according to one infectious disease expert, who says it would be a “double whammy” to be infected with both viruses."

"...I would hope that as many people as possible recognize that the flu shot is fairly effective, it helps protect yourself and everyone around you. So please get the flu shot,” he said Thursday on CTV’s Your Morning.

“This is the one year you don’t want to miss it.”

As health officials prepare for a possible “second wave” or resurgence of COVID-19 infection in Canada in the fall, some have expressed concern that the flu season might overwhelm hospitals...

...Australia, which is nearing the end of its winter, may serve as an example: the country experienced a major drop in influenza infections and deaths compared to the previous season. Experts credit COVID-19 restrictions and lockdown measures.

...But the upcoming flu season could still prove challenging for hospitals since it can be difficult to differentiate between influenza and COVID-19 infection. In late February and early March this year, there were “undoubtedly” coronavirus infections mistaken for influenza,

...a pair of U.S. studies found that 2.1 per cent of patients in New York City and 20.7 per cent of patients in Northern California had a second respiratory infection in addition to COVID-19.“Certainly that would be a double whammy we want to prevent,” said Sharkawy.
“It speaks to the importance of doing things like hand-washing, distancing and masking in indoor settings. All of these things work and they should help prevent both of these illnesses.”

Hear that, tide?
Less people in the streets because they are hiding in their homes from covid means less car accidents
Bam...roasted
I told you he was smart

Now if we could only expand that to force people in their homes 24/7
We may never see another death again not from natural causes

Ridiculous nonsensical mocking doesn't address the comments i posted.

Losers of a discussion/debate often have no response except personal insults. It's the losers M.O.

Many of their losses have been documented:

America is on pace to have the fewest number of total deaths than we have had in three years. One would believe that the number would be the highest we've ever recorded with all of these "Covid deaths" but yet it will be the smallest number since 2017. hmmmm....

"By the way, the facts about COVID-19 vs Flue in the US - the lies Trump, Pense (saying flu kills 100k a year) and his uneducated masses is promoting:
Flu Deaths by season:
2015-2016 23,000
2016-2017 38.000
2017-2018 61,000
2018-2019 34,000
2019-2020 22,000
vs.
COVID-19 deaths year-to-date 2020 210,000 and rapidly rising.

Violent crime is up and we have riots in the streets
Forcing people in their homes and saying it is good because you can't have as many car accidents is insanity

All your points are
It is the government telling you what is best for you and in the end it will all be for your own good

But you avoid deaths of despair.....which include suicides and drug overdoses
Lack of quality of life
Loss of jobs...businesses and money
Unavailability of medical resources through focus on covid
Estimation of deaths from lockdown are I believe 1.5 million
Suck it
